Usually, yes. Regular cleaning works best with continuity, so most local cleaners keep you with the same person or small team. If they're ever away, they'll let you know and arrange cover where they can.
How long does a regular clean take?
It depends on the size of your home and what's included, but a typical regular visit runs from around two to three hours. Your cleaner will suggest a sensible slot once they know your property.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
Not at all. Many customers give their cleaner access or leave a key once trust is established. It's entirely up to you, and something you can agree directly with your cleaner.
Can I change or pause my regular visits?
Yes. Regular cleaning is flexible. You can adjust the frequency, skip a visit when you're away or pause for a while, just give your cleaner reasonable notice.

How much does a cleaner cost?
It depends on the clean. Regular and one-off home cleaning is priced by the hour, while deep cleans, end-of-tenancy, after-builders, carpet and oven cleaning have a fixed price based on the size of your home. Either way, you see the exact price before you pay, with no hidden fees.
Are your cleaners insured?
Yes. Every Clearmate cleaner is vetted and insured, so you can book with complete confidence. If anything isn't right, get in touch and we'll put it right.
What if I'm not happy with the clean?
Tell us within 72 hours and we'll put it right, normally by sending your cleaner back to sort out anything that was missed, at no extra charge. Just reply to your booking confirmation email or get in touch, and we'll arrange it quickly.
Do I need to provide cleaning products and equipment?
For home cleaning, please have your everyday equipment ready, such as a vacuum, mop and bucket, plus your usual products and cloths, so your cleaner can work the way you like and use anything particular or eco-friendly you prefer. Specialist cleans like oven, carpet and after-builders come with the professional products and equipment the job needs. If you'd prefer your cleaner to bring products for a standard clean, just add a note when you book.
Can I book a one-off clean, or only regular visits?
Both. Book a one-off deep clean, end-of-tenancy or after-builders clean, or set up a regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly visit. Choose the frequency that suits you when you book.
How quickly can a cleaner start?
Often within a few days, and sooner when there's availability. Tell us when you'd like the clean (as soon as possible, this week, next week or flexible) and we'll book a cleaner who can match your timing.
What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
Plans change. You can reschedule or cancel your booking, and we'll let you know our notice window when you book. Just get in touch and we'll sort it out.
Is my booking backed by a guarantee?
Yes. Every clean comes with the Clearmate guarantee: if something isn't right, let us know within 72 hours and we'll arrange a free re-clean to make it good. Our cleaners are vetted and insured too, so you can book with confidence.
